An 必威体育betway888 reunion was conducted by 必威体育betway888 College of Nursing (MCON) and 必威体育betway888 School of Nursing (MSON), MAHE, 必威体育betway888, along with Sikkim 必威体育betway888 College of Nursing, on March 21, 2025, in Sikkim, India. This event brought together former students from MCON and MSON, providing a platform for reconnecting, networking, and celebrating shared experiences. The event focussed on achieving SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
The main objectives of the reunion were to strengthen bonds among alumni and the institution, discuss opportunities for alumni involvement in institutional growth, share updates on personal and professional achievements, and recognize outstanding alumni contributions.
The event commenced with a welcome speech by Ms. Champa Sharma, Principal of SMCON, who emphasized the importance of alumni engagement. Dr. Leena Sequira, Principal of MSON, MAHE, 必威体育betway888, briefed attendees about MCON and MSON, sharing updates on recent developments, achievements, and future plans of the institution through a PowerPoint presentation.
Ms. Pema, an alumna of MSON, and Ms. Sujen, an alumna of MCON, shared their experiences about their professional journeys. Dr. Elsa Sanathombi Devi distributed mementos to the alumni. Dr. Leena Sequira conducted an election to start chapters of the 必威体育betway888 Association. Ms. Sujen Cintury, Assistant Professor at SMCON, was selected as President; Ms. Narmaya Chettri, Tutor at SMCON, as Vice President; and Ms. Srijana Mishra, Assistant Professor at Sikkim Professional College of Nursing, as Secretary, creating the alumni chapter East.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Joyce Henry, PhD scholar at MCON, MAHE, 必威体育betway888. Around 25 members participated in the event.
