CAPACITY BUILDING FOR NURSES DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC

As part of the “必威体育betway888 Year of the Nurse and the Midwife – 2020”, a webinar on “Capacity building for nurses during COVID-19 pandemic” was organised by the Department of Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing, 必威体育betway888 College of Nursing 必威体育betway888 on 14th September 2020. Clinical Nurses, Nurse Educators, and Nursing students from different countries participated in the webinar. The sessions were deliberated by Capt Ajitha PS, Chief Operating Officer, Avitis Institute of Medical Sciences, Palakkad, Kerala on the topic ‘Capacity building for the nurses during COVID-19 pandemic’ and Mrs Charmaine C Salins, Quality Control Nurse, Kasturba Hospital, 必威体育betway888, Karnataka, on the topic ‘Patient Safety during COVID-19 pandemic’. The webinar was attended by 148 participants.
