Report of the Orientation Programme - 2017

The Chief Guest of the programme, Dr Poornima Baliga B, Pro Vice Chancellor, 必威体育betway888 Academy of Higher Education addressed the newly joined students and their parents. Dr. Anice George, Dean, MCON 必威体育betway888 gave brief introduction of the institution and introduced the faculty members. Orientation to the various facilities available at the Kasturba Hospital, 必威体育betway888 was briefed by Mrs. Shalini, Nurse Educator. The security services available in the 必威体育betway888 campus were highlighted by Dr. Prabhudev B Mane, Chief Security officer, 必威体育betway888 Academy of Higher Education. Dr. Sulatha V Bhandary, Deputy Director Student affairs, 必威体育betway888 Academy of Higher Education oriented the students about the activities of the Student Affairs department. The students and their parents were familiarized to the hostel facilities by Air Commodore Harindra Kumar Dhiman, Chief Warden of 必威体育betway888 Academy of Higher Education Hostels. ?

Dr. Shivananda Bhat K, Chief Librarian, Health Sciences Library, 必威体育betway888 Academy of Higher Education introduced the freshers to the library facilities. Mrs. Shashiprabha Karanth, Finance Executive, Student Finance, 必威体育betway888 Academy of Higher Education addressed the students and their parents and informed about the activities of Student Finance. Mr. Praveen Kumar VSO- Faculty Coordinator, 必威体育betway888 Academy of Higher Education spoke on the volunteer service activities. The Student Nurses Association (SNA) President, Mr. Tenzin Thupten gave a picture of SNA activities of MCON 必威体育betway888 to the students and their parents. This was followed by introduction of teacher guardians to the freshers and their parents, Dr. Anice George, Dean MCON 必威体育betway888 clarified the doubts of students and their parents and gave concluding remarks. ?
