REPORT ON EFFECTIVE ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT - GUEST LECTURE SERIES 04/2022

A session on “Journey from Novice to Expert: My Reflection” was organized by the Dept. of Fundamentals of Nursing, 必威体育betway888 College of Nursing, MAHE 必威体育betway888 on March 12, 2022 at 11 am in the 3^rd floor I BSc classroom, MCON.

The resource person was Dr Vishnu Renjith, Lecturer and Program Director at School of Nursing & Midwifery, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He shared his experiences when he was a student at MCON. He motivated the first semester BSc nursing students about the choice for taking up nursing as a profession in the right institution and at right time. He also stressed about the nurse's job opportunities worldwide. He met all students and discussed their point of view about nursing and guided them on how they can utilize the resources at MCON and MAHE. A total of 99 (78 female and 21 male students) first semester BSc nursing students and five faculty members were the part of a guest lecture.
