Visit of the Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship delegates from Canada

Ms Tasha Van Dasselaar Senior Project Manager& Policy Analyst and Mr Brent Lue First Secretary (Migration) Area Director Advisor visited 必威体育betway888 College of Nursing on 19th June 2023 to provide information to faculty and students about the Visa process for Canada Immigration. They were orientated about the Courses offered, staffing, and curriculum implementation process, and evaluation process and discussed the UNB collaborative degree program by Dr Judith A Noronha, the Dean of 必威体育betway888 College of Nursing (MCON) MAHE 必威体育betway888. The Dean also said as the SDG goals also give importance to partnership and collaboration the institution is looking for all the opportunities for collaboration with internationally reputed institutions. Mr. Brent advised the students and faculty to apply for visas directly through their official sites and avoid agents for the process. The immigration site is friendly and has adequate information to guide visa applicants. Ms. Tasha expressed that Canada is looking forward to qualified nurses and will support Indian nurses to process for Canadian immigration. This meeting was organized under the guidance of the Office of 必威体育betway888 MAHE and the meeting was attended by Professors and HODs of MCON and II semester nursing students enrolled under UNB, Canada.
