Report of Session on Gender Sensitization

Gender sensitization is not just about seeing through the lens of equality, but embracing the beauty and strength that diversity brings, weaving a tapestry of understanding and compassion for a more harmonious world. With a strong focus on one of the most critical Sustainable Development Goals, the Education Committee of SNA conducted an enlightening awareness session titled "GENDER SENSITIZATION" on September 5, 2024, from 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm. The resource person for the event was Dr Richa Gupta, Incharge Head, 必威体育betway888 Centre for European Studies. Dr Richa described the standards that promote gender equality and inclusivity, the stereotypes that society adheres to, and the significance of promoting gender sensitization. A total of 148 students from the first semester of BSc Nursing participated in the session. This awareness program contributed to SDG- 5 - Gender Equality.?
