BHM 3rd year students observed ‘Azadi 70 - Yaad Karo Kurbani’

WGSHA, 必威体育betway888 Academy of Higher Education commemorated the Freedom Fortnight ‘Azadi 70 - Yaad Karo Kurbani’, which celebrates the 70 years of Independence by organising a guest talk on 20th August, 2016 (Saturday) by Commodore Jerome Castelino, VSM, Indian Navy (Retd.). Commodore Castelino delivered a true inspirational speech; wherein he highlighted about the partition story including the Kashmir issue. He spoke on the life and sacrifices done by our defense personnel. He even accentuated on the various wars like Goa Liberation War in 1961 and wars against Pakistan in 1965 and 1971 including Kargil war. He finally encouraged the students to join the defense forces, and also underlined the benefits and perks offered to officers by the department of defense, Government of India.
