Kasturba Medical College Mangalore, and KMC Hospital Ambedkar Circle, Mangalore, celebrated National Doctors Day yesterday by felicitating several prominent periphery doctors for their outstanding contributions to healthcare.
The event recognized the following doctors for upholding the values of ethical practice and community service: Dr. K. Yogisha, Joint General Manager-Medical Services, MCF Limited, Panambur; Dr. Munawar Dhanish Mohammed, Founder Director of TruMed Health Care, Medical Director and Lead Consultant in General Medicine at Wintouch Multi Speciality Hospital, Kasargod; - Dr. Deepak K. Naik, Janani Ortho & ENT Day Center, Kumta; Dr. Sathvik Jain, Chief of Medical Services SDM Hospital Ujire and present Secretary of IMA Belthangady; Dr. Veerendra K. H., KNH Hospital, Uppala; and, Dr. Prasad B. Shetty, Vijaya Polyclinic, Hosmar.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. B. Unnikrishnan, Dean of Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore; Mr. Saghir Siddiqui, Regional COO of KMC Hospital Mangalore, along with other doctors.
The celebration included a scientific session on Adult Vaccination and the inauguration of the KMC Hospital Adult Vaccination Center by Shri. Santosh Pai, Dr. Yogisha K., and Dr. Dilip G. Naik, Pro Vice Chancellor, MAHE Mangalore campus.
