Students from the undergraduate Chemical Engineering program at MIT 必威体育betway888 have made their mark at the recently concluded “Paryavaran 2024” event, held at MS Ramaiah Institute, Bengaluru. Ms. Radhika Krishna B and Ms. Dona Aristo, both final-year students, along with Ms. Santusti Gour, a third-year student, won the first prize in the poster presentation category, earning a cash award of ?10,000.
Their award-winning project, titled “Bioinspired Metal Organic Framework-Based Nanocomposites for Carbon Dioxide Reduction to Solar Fuels,” was praised for its innovative approach to converting carbon dioxide into solar fuels, a sustainable solution that addresses pressing environmental challenges. The project was developed at the VGST Centre of Excellence, funded by the Vision Group on Science and Technology (VGST), Government of Karnataka.
