Six Postgraduate students from Dept of Prosthodontics, 必威体育betway888 College of Dental Sciences Mangalore participated in the observership at National Cheng Kung University Hospital (NCKUH) which was sponsored by Ministry of Health and Welfare, Taiwan.?This program was facilitated by Voice of HealthCare, India and 必威体育betway888 affairs and collaboration MAHE. The program was from 19th to 24th May 2024 were the students Visited the School of Dentistry, including the preclinical laboratory and research facility laboratories and observational activities within the Department of Prosthodontics.

Exchange program activities

Day 1:

Visited the Stomatology Department at National Cheng Kung University Hospital (NCKUH) in Taiwan. Engaged in observational activities within the Department of Prosthodontics, focusing on workflow, infrastructure, and equipment. Held discussions with students and faculty members. Participated in a case discussion session.

Day 2:

Continued observational activities within the Department of Prosthodontics.

Day 3:

Further engagement in observational activities within the Department of Prosthodontics.

Day 4:

Visited the School of Dentistry, including the preclinical laboratory and research facility laboratories. Continued observational activities within the Department of Prosthodontics.

Day 5:

Met with the superintendent of NCKUH and the head of stomatology. Attended presentations by representatives from MCODS Mangalore and NCKUH. Visited the 必威体育betway888ern Taiwan Science Park iBioMed Flagship Hall, where various manufacturers showcased dental products. Participated in pitching sessions conducted by the manufacturers.

Day 6:

Received a briefing on dental products at Dentxlab Co. Introduced to software developed for dental clinic and laboratory communication, as well as a reflection screen for shade selection.
