Dr Judith Angelitta Noronha hails from Udupi where she completed her early education. She completed her graduation in Nursing from Mangalore University in 1992 and post-graduation in Obstetric and Gynaecological (OBG) Nursing from MAHE in 1996. Later she obtained her M.Phil and PhD from MAHE, 必威体育betway888 in 1999 and 2007 respectively.
On completion of her Masters, Dr Judith joined her alma mater, 必威体育betway888 College of Nursing, MAHE, 必威体育betway888 as a Lecturer in the year 1997 and served the institution in various capacities till 2008. She served as the Professor and Head, Department of OBG Nursing, MCON 必威体育betway888 from 2003-2008. She joined the College of Nursing, Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat Sultanate of Oman as an academician and served that institution during 2008-2012. During this tenure, she has also served as the Assistant Dean for Clinical Training from 2009 to 2011. On her return from Muscat, Dr Judith joined back 必威体育betway888 College of Nursing, MAHE, 必威体育betway888 as Professor and Head, Department of OBG Nursing in the year 2012. She was appointed as Associate Dean, MCON, 必威体育betway888 in October 2013.

To engage in evidence based nursing education and practice in preparing the future nurses for providing affordable quality nursing care with commitment.
Accomplishments
Dr Judith has to her credit 60 publications in various national and international journals. She has worked on collaborative research projects funded by ICMR, University of Leicester, UK etc. Dr Judith is trained with Cochrane Campbell collaborations in evidence synthesis. She was one of the trainers for the systematic review and evidence-based practice workshops, continuing nursing education programs on Advanced Leadership and Management for Senior nurses at Al-Salam 必威体育betway888 Hospital Kuwait since 2016. She was also the Coordinator and trainer for the FHI360 project with the University of Minnesota to train faculty from Kabul University of Medical Sciences (KUMS), Kabul, Afghanistan and Master Trainer for Nursing and Midwifery Educators at Indian Nursing Council, Government of India.
