Assistant Professor

Ankita Mishra is working as an Assistant Professor (Psychology) at the Department of Liberal Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, MAHE, Bengaluru. She holds her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from the University of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, where she excelled as a gold medallist in both the programs. She qualified UGC-NET and currently pursuing her PhD at the Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar, Rupnagar, Punjab. Her doctoral research delves into the broad area of entrepreneurship psychology, with a particular focus on utilizing psychological theories to design and assess the effectiveness of intervention geared towards enhancing entrepreneurial intentions among the undergraduate students. Her research interests span across organizational behaviour, positive psychology, psychological interventions, entrepreneurship, and pro-environmental behaviour. She has invested a significant amount of time and energy into researching these areas, resulting in the publication of the findings in reputed peer-reviewed journals. She has also showcased her research at both national and international conferences. Throughout the PhD career, she has been actively involved in teaching and mentoring undergraduate students. She has served as a teaching assistant for various B. Tech courses where she led discussions and provided guidance to students. Apart from her academic pursuits, she finds solace in dancing and painting, offering a creative outlet amidst her busy schedule.
