Assistant Professor

I am currently working as Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) in the Department of Liberal Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. Previously, I have also worked as Assistant Professor across different fields of media and communication namely Visual Communication, Electronic Media, Animation and Visual Effects. I have also completed my PhD in Madurai Kamaraj University, on the topic “Animation in audio visual communication medium, A study of animated visuals as a tool to sensitize Tamil Nadu Government’s select social awareness programs”. and obtained M.Sc. in Animation Design from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. I have 8 years’ experience in academics from various reputed institutions and 2 years’ experience in the industrial field of Animation & Computer Graphics. I am a keen researcher, and have published, presented research papers at several national and international conferences of repute. I have also assisted & guided students projects and been a placement coordinator for the under-grad students. I am also associated as Board of members in reputed Institutions for syllabus, question paper setting, evaluation. I have organized hands-on workshops and seminars in Graphics & Animation techniques. My areas of interest are Advertising, ICT, Animation and e-learning creation.
